PLACES (placesband.com) is a Rock, Pop, and Soul project formed in the summer of 2008.
The band is fueled by honest lyrics and a soulful delivery, driven by a dynamic rhythm section, and coupled with three and four part harmonies.
"No More Wasted Days" is the band's proudest collection of songs to date. It was recorded live at The Blasting Room (Ft. Collins), and produced with the help of Grammy Winner Greg Richling (of the Wallflowers) and engineered by Bryan Cook (Train, Beck).
Their live show is truly inspiring. Glasgow's vocal and guitar performance is captivating, the Barker's bring a highly dynamic and fun-to-watch show with the dueling drumset approach and grooving rhythm section that provides a solid backbone to their movement.
Places is quickly becoming a top live act in a popular and booming Denver music scene. They've had the opportunity to share the stage with Allison Krauss and Union Station, Brett Dennen, Eve 6, Valencia, Anarbor and Nine Days, as well as being a mainstay in the Denver music community.
They sold out CD Release shows in both Denver and Missoula, MT where the band started. They are continuing to build a following through the online
community and their relentless schedule of live dates.
